Meet your ISR Instructor

Hi! I am Darci, your Estero/Bonita Springs Certified ISR Instructor. As you see in my picture, I am a mom to two little girls (4 & 3). Both of them have been through the ISR program starting at 9 months old. Through my ISR journey with both of them is what brought me here now.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) In my past I have been part of swim teams and a former lifeguard/traditional swim instructor in Indiana.

After moving to Florida in 2014, water safety with littles was a MAJOR priority of mine. When I became pregnant with our first child, I knew I had to find some type of swimming lessons for my daughter. Through some intense research I came across ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) and after reading up on it, I knew it was the right program for us! After seeing my own children go through the program, I felt so passionate about the teachings that I then became an ISR Instructor. If you know me, you know I have a VERY strong passion for water safety combined with my love for children and the desire to keep them safe. This brings a unique perspective to the mission of ISR ensuring “not one more child drowns” in my community. Thank you so much for considering ISR for your children.
